Re: Planning application 3PL/2005/0905/F Primrose House, Mileham Rd. Litcham.
At a meeting of the Litcham Parish Council Planning Committee on the 4th of July the Council resolved that while it had no objection to the proposed development going ahead it wished to make the following observations : -
1) As the development was in the village 'Conservation Area'
it wished to ensure that a conservation officer would be consulted.
2) That all material used would match as far as possible those
used in the existing structure, most notably the roof-tiles.
3) With regard to the letter from Adrian Richards of "The
Rectory", the Council decided that it had no strong feelings
either-way as to the finish of the Mileham Rd. (northern) aspect
of the development but agreed that viewed from the garden it would
be preferable to finish the new (south-facing) wall in red brick
to better balance the view.
